OpenStreetMap revisited

I blogged about OpenStreetMap before, it’s a wiki intended to collect GPS datapoints and create a free map of the whole world. So how is this project holding up? Very well, as can be seen in this really cool video: . It’s an animation of all the edits that happened in the year 2008.Very nice way of visualizing a year of progress.
